Hi, I have a suggestion?
How about a feature that will notify you by email when someone replies to your post? You know, like when you get a private message, you are notified by it telling you you have a private message. Well, how about if you could get a message telling you that someone replied to a topic you posted? I'd like to know before I come on the sight if someone answered my topic.
Thank you very much,
wonderwoman

i Ti THINK THAT ALSO WHILE ON THII think that you should also be able to reply a posters message. This way the bored is mmore like a thread. This way nnot everything gets added below at the bottem of the topic. For example, Let's say that there are ten poastings in a mesage. I am reaplying to Torico's responce, I could hit a reply link below her name, and it would insert my reply below her message. Also, why not have the irigonal text quoted below the message? So this way I gcould edit Torico's message below mine or above mine, to have things make more sense. Sometimes having the topic with a tun of replys, and everything getting inserted at the bottem of the topic at hand makes it confusing. Its not always easy to tell who is replying to which message. Does this make any sense or dollars? Thanks, John

I can see the quote message thing as a feature, but I've never seen boards that put the new reply right after the original message instead of at the bottom. That could get quite confusing, IMHO. But quoting isn't a bad idea.

Hi John,
That makes sense. I like to reply to each person who replies to me individually, but since there is only one reply link at the bottom of the list of messages. It's just hard to remember who said what, if there are a lot of replies.Oh well, I guess it's something that can't be done.

As for myself, I was able to read all the replies to a certain message thread and then post my views in one message, as per all of the replies I had. I like this format better, as I can make either physical or mental notes and reply all at once, rather than to each and every individual message. Could you imagine how clogged with the volume of mail this site would get if we replied to each and every message? As for me, I'd not hang around. I don't have the time to read that many messages.

No... You don't have to reply to every message posted, but the reply link below each posting would take to you to a form like this, with the arigonal text quoted by the person you are replyint too for example. Like If I posted a message, and you replyed to mean, it would say frof, JH_Radio, link... Then below that would be a "Reply" link. When you clicked on that, it would put you in an edit box with the message that I posted below yours, so you could edit it to have it flow with the conversation. Your posting would go just below my post then. Is this makeing any sense?

Hi boomer,
no, I didn't mean I would reply to every original messages on the whole boards, lol. I mean justreplying individually to each person who replied to my message. Oh well, maybe I'm too hung up on making each poster feel his or her message is important, lol.
